Three new sleep stories narrated by me have gone live on Insight Timer today. Find out what’s happening at Mr Pooter’s house in Edwardian London in chapters 9 and 10 of Diary of a Nobody; walk with Alice among the talking flowers in chapter 2 of Alice Through the Looking Glass, and find out whether Sir Gawain will withstand the temptation offered by his host’s beautiful wife in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, part 3.
These readings are all continuations of existing stories, but are designed to be enjoyed independently as the longer pieces they come from are episodic in nature.
Listening to a bedtime story is an age-old way of dropping off to sleep or just relaxing. Sleep stories are becoming really popular again and are listened to these days by adults and children alike as more and more research comes in about the value of downtime in our hectic and demanding modern lives.
So, go on, spoil yourself for twenty minutes. Get comfy and have a listen. There are many stories for you to listen to on Insight Timer and most of them are free.

Hi Mandy,
I enjoyed reading about your adventures with your dad. My mom lived with me for 17 years until she crossed the veil at age 97. My life became an interesting adventure as well. Much different than raising children and spoiling grandchildren. I learned a lot about myself.
Take care,
Suellen
Hi Suellen, good to hear from you. 17 years! I found it a unique, hard, searingly painful yet rich and unforgettable experience caring for Dad. 97 is an amazing age for your mom to live to. Dad made it to 96. Kind regards and thanks for your support over on Insight Timer ❤️
